Description

Forward Detector (FD)

Simulation of the Forward Detector placed in the beam line downstream of the setup (Z = 4.5 m in Run 9), used in the trigger to measure the charge of the beam particles and fragments that did not interact or were produced at small angles.

BmnFD	Detector class for the simulation: geometry and creation of MC points
BmnFDPoint	MC point in the detector
BmnFDGeo, BmnFDGeoPar, BmnFDContFact	Geometry in the FairRoot ASCII format and parameter containers

Library

Built into the FD library; the ROOT dictionary is defined in FDLinkDef.h.
