Description

Silicon Strip Detector (SSD)

Simulation and digitization of a silicon strip detector (SSD) adapted from the CBM STS software (version of 2018), including a detailed simulation of the sensor response.

Note: the package is not built now: add_subdirectory(ssd) is commented out in detectors/CMakeLists.txt.

Subdirectories

Directory	Description
mc	Detector class for the MC transport and auxiliary MC classes
setup	Hierarchical description of the SSD setup: setup, stations, modules, sensors
digitize	Simulation of the detector response and digitization
auxx	Auxiliary data classes (digits, clusters, hits, addresses)

Library

Would be built into the BmnSsd library; the ROOT dictionary is defined in SsdLinkDef.h.
