Description

Forward Silicon Detector

Simulation, digitization and hit reconstruction of the Forward Silicon tracking detector (FSD): silicon strip stations located between the target and the GEM stations.

Processing chain

1. Simulation: BmnSilicon creates MC points (BmnSiliconPoint) in the sensors; BmnSiliconDigitizer converts them into strip digits. In the experimental data, the digits are produced by the Raw Data Decoder.
2. Reconstruction: BmnSiliconHitMaker finds strip clusters and produces hits (BmnSiliconHit); the clusters are also used by the CA tracking (see BmnToCbmHitConverter in detectors/sts).
