Description

Silicon Profilometer (SiProf)

Simulation, digitization and hit reconstruction of the silicon beam profilometers: silicon strip detectors in the beam line that measure the beam profile and position.

Classes

BmnSiProf	Detector class for the simulation: geometry and creation of MC points
BmnSiProfPoint	MC point in a silicon sensor
BmnSiProfDigit	Strip digit
BmnSiProfHit	Reconstructed hit
BmnSiProfStationSet, BmnSiProfStation, BmnSiProfModule, BmnSiProfLayer	Detector geometry created from an XML configuration: stations, modules and strip layers with clustering and hit finding
BmnSiProfConfiguration.h	List of the profilometer configurations of the run periods
BmnSiProfTransform	Transformations (alignment) of the modules
BmnSiProfDigitizer	Produces strip digits from the MC points
BmnSiProfHitMaker	Produces hits from the strip digits

The raw data of the profilometers are decoded by BmnProfRaw2Digit (decoder) and can be read online by BmnProfilometerSource (base/source).

Library

Built into the SiProf library; the ROOT dictionary is defined in SiProfLinkDef.h.
