Description

Electronic Logbook API

C++ interface to the database of the Electronic Logbook (e-Log) of the BM@N experiment: the records written by the shift crews for the runs with their type, trigger, beam, target, energy and DAQ status. The classes connect directly to the PostgreSQL database through the ROOT TSQLServer interface; the connection settings are set in elog_db_settings.h.

The table classes are generated from the database scheme (see scheme): each class has static functions to create, get, delete, search and print the records of its table, and getters and setters of the table columns.

ElogRecord	Table record_: logbook records, e.g. all records of a run (ElogRecord::GetRecords)
ElogAttachment	Table attachment_: files attached to the records
ElogPerson	Table person_: persons (authors, shift leaders)
ElogType	Table type_: types of the records
ElogTrigger	Table trigger_: triggers of the runs
ElogBeam	Table beam_: beam particles
ElogTarget	Table target_: targets
ElogStatus	Table status_: status values (not built yet: absent in CMakeLists.txt and ElogDbLinkDef.h)
ElogContact	Table contact_: contacts (not built yet: absent in CMakeLists.txt and ElogDbLinkDef.h)
ElogSearchCondition	Condition (column, comparison, value) for the Search functions
